TL: DN –
- Find a keyword using the KGR method.
- Compiled a great post covering the topic.
- Build 10 Web 2.0 properties.
- Buy PBN Links.
Didn’t manage time to write anything for the blog. I was busy with some personal stuff. But in the meanwhile, I did try to see how easy to rank KGR keywords. If you are not aware of what is KGR (Keyword Golden Ratio), then you should read it out at the first point. Doug Cunnington comes up with this process to find some excellent low competitive keywords.
Caution – I will promote a few services within this case study.
1st Step – Finding a Keyword
So after reading out the process, you will have an idea of how to find keywords based on KGR process. For more clarification, read this guide which will help you to understand the process more efficiently.
If this still hard to understand or want to save your time, then you can try out this service –
Remi can help you out to find the golden keywords based on your niche. I did talk with him via PM, and he sounds like a helpful guy.
I did this test based on three separate keywords. 2 are on the same topic. You can see the search volume from the screenshot. All four keywords are KGR compliant keyword.

2nd Step – Create an excellent post covering the topic
After finding the four KGR keyword, I create three money content for my site. All three post includes ten individual short product review, along with the buying guide and a few helpful tips. In average, 4000 words per article. For buying guide help, you can check Nerva’s guide from here. It’s an excellent read on how to write a buying guide for Amazon affiliate.
For on-page SEO, I didn’t take that much headache. All I did to follow the checklist of Rank Math SEO Plugin, and it’s done.
I waited over six weeks, and I saw all the four keywords are ranked within the top 30 results. Few facts to note –
- My site is four years old.
- Already have some links throughout the other pages.
- Have near around 1500+ traffic per month.
So I have no idea how the KGR keywords will work with the fresh and new website. I need to test it out soon.
3rd Step – Building Web 2.0 Properties
According to Doug Cunnington, he didn’t build any links to rank the KGR keywords. But I believe it will vary niches to niches. All my keywords are around top 30 and didn’t see any improvement over time. So thought to push with some links. I did build ten Web 2.0 for each post. I used the regular platform like Blogspot, WordPress. Posted average 2-3 articles per blog and used junk keywords to link back to my site.
Simple process –
- Build 10 Web 2.0 for each post. Use a generic topic name for the URL. Like if you are working with the lawnmower then anything relates to gardening topic is the best for web 2.0. I don’t like to build too specific blogs based on my keywords.
- Post 2-3 articles to each blog on average.
- Interlinking between each content.
- One – Two link to my post using generic anchor like read more, click here.

After that, I bought Kevin’s PBN service to blust all the web 2.0. It’s cheap as hell and worked for me.
I waited 2-3 more week’s to see any impact and to be honest; it was not overwhelming. It did move the keywords within the top 20. But I was expected more.
Final Step – Buying PBN Links
So none of the keyword’s are ranked yet. I want to buy PBN links. I purchased a few services before, but none of it was satisfactory. Tiberius was my client back, and we worked a long time together in the past. Also, you can see I am promoting his service via signature. So I thought to give a try. I bought 3-5 links for each post.
Again I waited three more weeks to see the result. I can see the ranked pushed up over the days. And three days back, I saw three keywords are ranking higher, and one is still on the 2nd page. Then I decided to share the case study. The whole process took around three months for me. I read a few other case studies like how to rank KGR keywords within a month or days. I don’t know how they did it. Maybe the niche or topic fact or I am doing mistake somewhere. I am still too NOOB for this SEO world. Still learning and trying to do well.
I did check my Amazon affiliate account. Started seeing a few sales already from the pages. Out of 15 sales, seven products are from the pages ranked under KGR keywords. It’s not a big no I know but it’s just a starting. And the search volume we got for each keyword, we can’t expect 100-200 sales from each page.
So all it matters, how you can rank KGR keywords easily. It’s not that easy as it sounds or read. You have to work on it. Again note, niches and competition vary. But you can rank with a little effort. It’s best if you are new in the affiliate marketing.
